Amb. Prof. Muhammadou M. O. Kah
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Gambia to Switzerland and Permanent Representative to UNOG, WTO and all Other Organisations in Switzerland



H.E. Amb. Prof. Muhammadou M. O. Kah is the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of The Gambia to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva.
He serves as Vice President (Africa) of the UN Human Rights Council, Vice Chair of UNCTAD’s Commission on Science and Technology for Development, and Vice Chair of the WIPO General Assembly.
Formerly the first Gambian-born Vice Chancellor of the University of The Gambia, he has held senior academic positions in Nigeria and Azerbaijan. Prof. Kah holds a PhD from Stevens Institute of Technology, an MSc from George Washington University, and a Diploma from the University of Oxford. He is recognized for his leadership in education, technology, and innovation.
