    Key Responsibilities

    Director of International Events & Business Partnerships

    01.

    International Events Planning & Execution

    Lead the overall design, organization, and implementation of global conferences, summits, and high-level forums.

    Oversee the full event lifecycle — including agenda design, speaker engagement, promotion, and post-event outcomes.

    Develop and implement standardized event management processes and quality control systems.

    02.

    International Cooperation & Business Development

    Expand strategic partnerships with government bodies, international organizations, academic institutions, and private enterprises.

    Formulate and execute partnership development strategies to promote joint initiatives and resource sharing.

    Lead negotiations, contracting, and follow-up on international cooperation agreements to establish long-term collaboration mechanisms.

    03.

    Branding & External Relations

    Oversee WDTA’s international brand positioning and external communications strategy.

    Maintain relationships with global media outlets and strategic partners, coordinating external communications and public relations activities.

    Represent WDTA at major international events to enhance institutional visibility and influence.

    04.

    Management & Coordination

    Lead the Events and Business Partnerships team, setting annual goals and operational plans.

    Coordinate cross-departmental resources to ensure effective delivery of events and partnership projects.

    Monitor budget utilization and evaluate project performance outcomes.

    ABOUT

    Qualifications

    Director of International Events & Business Partnerships

    Master’s degree or above in International Relations, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Minimum of 3 years’ experience in international conferences, business development, or cross-border cooperation projects.

    Strong understanding of international institutions, government relations, and corporate partnership frameworks.

    Excellent bilingual communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills (English and Chinese).

    Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities; able to manage international travel and multi-time-zone coordination.
