Tencent Cloud Ding Security Laboratory, established in May 2016, is one of the top laboratories under Tencent Security. Adhering to the principle of “creating value for users as the ultimate goal,” Cloud Ding Lab follows a technology path that emphasizes both research-driven innovation and practical implementation. The lab focuses on research and innovation in cloud security technologies, covering areas such as large-scale cloud security protection and governance, cloud-native security, cryptography and cloud data security, container and virtualization security, as well as hardware, firmware, and infrastructure security. Cloud Ding Lab is also responsible for the security architecture, protection, and governance of the Tencent Cloud platform itself. Through ongoing offensive–defensive security exercises, compliance audits, the construction of security governance and control systems, big-data-driven security operations platforms, and cloud-native managed security services (Cloud-MSS), the lab continuously safeguards the security of the Tencent Cloud platform and millions of tenants operating in the cloud.
