    The Director of International Events & Business Partnerships is responsible for the overall planning and execution of international conferences, cooperation forums, and strategic partnership development. The role aims to strengthen WDTA’s global brand presence, partnership network, and business development initiatives.

    International Conference & Brand Manager
    International Conference & Brand Manager We are seeking a highly capable professional to lead the planning and execution of major international conferences and flagship events for a global technology organization. This role will work closely with the Secretariat, senior advisory team, and international partners to ensure high-quality delivery and global impact. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of major international conferences and brand events. Coordinate with UN agencies, government departments, industry organizations, and global partners. Develop overall event timelines, design agendas, manage speaker invitations, guest engagement, and on-site execution. Manage international corporate outreach, plan partnership activities, and support business collaboration. Oversee event branding and communications, review key content and materials, and monitor communication outcomes. Qualifications Strong command of English for professional communication and written documentation (required). Proven experience in international conference planning or large-scale event management: Candidates with solid experience may join at a Director level; Candidates with strong potential, excellent coordination ability, and willingness to grow may join as an Assistant. Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, multi-task environments. Strong interest in international cooperation, technology development, and brand communication. Oversee the full event lifecycle — including agenda design, speaker engagement, promotion, and post-event outcomes. Develop and implement standardized event management processes and quality control systems. 2.International Cooperation & Business Development Expand strategic partnerships with government bodies, international organizations, academic institutions, and private enterprises. Formulate and execute partnership development strategies to promote joint initiatives and resource sharing. Lead negotiations, contracting, and follow-up on international cooperation agreements to establish long-term collaboration mechanisms. 3.Branding & External Relations Oversee WDTA’s international brand positioning and external communications strategy. Maintain relationships with global media outlets and strategic partners, coordinating external communications and public relations activities. Represent WDTA at major international events to enhance institutional visibility and influence. 4.Management & Coordination Lead the Events and Business Partnerships team, setting annual goals and operational plans. Coordinate cross-departmental resources to ensure effective delivery of events and partnership projects. Monitor budget utilization and evaluate project performance outcomes. • Qualifications Master’s degree or above in International Relations, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in international conferences, business development, or cross-border cooperation projects.
