    In 2026, the WDFT Awards will place a special spotlight on the most transformative advancements in Artificial Intelligence—a technology reshaping economies, societies, and the future of human development. We invite leading scientists, innovators, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and institutions from around the world to join this global evaluation initiative.

    This year’s Awards seek to recognize breakthroughs that push the boundaries of AI science, engineering, governance, and real-world impact. From foundational models and secure AI architectures to responsible deployment, societal benefit, and global cooperation, the 2026 focus aims to highlight work that not only advances the state of the art but also exemplifies Technology for Humanity.

    The WDFT Awards call upon the global community to submit outstanding contributions that demonstrate technical excellence, ethical integrity, and a commitment to shaping a safe, inclusive, and sustainable AI future. Together, we will identify the leaders and innovations defining the next chapter of the AI era.

    WDFT Awards for AI Achievement

    WDTA will conduct award collection and preliminary evaluation across multiple regions worldwide, either independently or in partnership with reputable organizations in relevant fields. WDTA and its partners identify and recommend outstanding projects and individuals within each award category.The WDFT Awards Working Group will review these regional recommendations and select them as nominees for the annual WDFT Grand Awards. A final screening and evaluation process will determine the recipients of the annual global awards.
